Vernetzte Informationsprozesse in Forschungsverbünden (Information Processes in Research Networks)
Im Wissensnetz has the ambition to create an eScience semantic desktop for efficient and interdisciplinary knowledge creation processes, by transferring approved methods and technologies from operative knowledge management solutions. A software prototype will be developed to assist scientists in their individual and shared innovation and research processes.

Objective/Scope: The objective is to exemplify, within the use case of Rapid-Prototyping-High-Technology, the benefit of assisting researchers in cooperative innovation processes directed to the right contact person and to relevant content by applying semantic retrieval technologies, text extraction, P2P approach, etc.
