At the end of 2007, DATEV eG strategically decided to continue its application of empolis classification and search technologies. With the purpose of a long-term partnership, DATEV eG secures its access to the leading search technology, empolis:Information Access Suite, by renewing its contract with empolis until 2011. In addition, extensive mutual projects in the areas text mining and linguistics as well as guided content navigation have been agreed upon for the next two years.
DATEV eG has positioned empolis software since 2004. Since that time, empolis has been employed for a varety of DATEV projects (knowledge database LEXinform, internet portal, intranet portal, support) and areas of application as the standard, central technology for information management.
