empolis is pleased to announce that it has become a grade 3 Business Affiliate of the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators (ISTC). The ISTC is the only professional body in the UK for technical writers and information managers.

ISTC is the sister organisation of tekom (German professional association for technical communication and Information-Development) where empolis has been a member since 1999. empolis also announced at the same time that it will make a sponsorship commitment to the ISTC Conference to be held at the Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool, UK on 2-4 October, 2007.
