Siemens IT Solutions and Services - the successor to Siemens Business Services GmbH & Co. OHG - has been tapping the benefits of the empolis:Service Lifecycle Suite (e:SLS) from empolis GmbH since the summer of 2005. Known internally as "Knox" (Knowledge Explorer), the current version went live at the end of 2006, and is currently used by 1000 registered users. Knox is an intelligent solution for knowledge and solution-based support in the service desk arena.
