Singen/Gütersloh, Germany, October 22, 2007. RS AdWare GmbH (Singen), a subsidiary of RS MediaGroup AG, has purchased the Catalog Solution from empolis GmbH (Gütersloh, Germany). Today, the Singen-based company announced the acquisition retroactively to October 1st.
Bernhard Feldmann and Jens Roeder, who own RS MediaGroup, came to the decision to conclude the business deal “because the Catalog Solution perfectly complements our portfolio”. The purchase price was not specified by the company. The empolis Catalog Solution (formerly catalox) employees will be employed by RS AdWare GmbH. The Catalog Solution is a specialized solution for comprehensive, automated advertising media production for both print and the web. Ads, flyers, structured or creatively designed catalogs and brochures in different languages and variants, as well as electronic media, are produced efficiently and economically.

RS MediaGroup is the market leader for process optimization in advertising media production in the German-speaking region. A company has been found that can further concentrate its existing strengths with the integration of the Catalog Solution to provide customers with added value and innovative products with maximum quality, emphasizes Wess.
Bernhard Feldmann, Chairman of the RS MediaGroup Board, feels confident about the acquisition "because the RS MediaGroup can position itself even more broadly". Feldmann announced that the cooperation with empolis will be intensified.
RS MediaGroup has guaranteed the realization of fast, efficient and economical advertising materials production. The company has 110 employees in Singen, Hamburg, Munich and Offenbach. Among its customers are the OTTO Group, Neckermann, Vögele, COOP and Metro Group.
