Empolis Continues on Path of Growth

Zurück zum Blog

In 2021, the Empolis Group recorded the highest turnover in the company’s history, and it continues to grow despite the ongoing pandemic. The software provider’s annual turnover rose 15 percent compared to the previous year. With one-and-a-half times the previous year’s volume, the company also reported a record of incoming orders. A significant portion of that is attributed to the cloud-based SaaS business. The group’s SaaS turnover rose by 85 percent and its base grew by 60 percent.

In this record-breaking year, Empolis was also acclaimed with numerous national and international awards, including 4 Stevie Awards® 2022 for Sales & Customer Service, Champion of the Digital Transformation 2021, Cloud Computing Excellence Award 2021, and the DBTA Trend-Setting Product 2022.

Empolis Managing Director Andreas Klüter is delighted by the record result: “More and more companies are choosing our SaaS products for their digital transformation. Our strong customer focus, proven best practices, and advanced process and technology expertise have a remarkable impact on the market, and represent the basis for our continued growth.”

The joint vision and mission, a strong corporate culture, and standardized AI-based SaaS software products are the foundation of this success – and they drive the company’s continuous growth.

In a data-driven world, no one has to make a wrong decision ever again. Each day around 700,000 professionals use the Empolis Intelligent Views Platform® and the SaaS software products based on it: Empolis Service Express®, Empolis Knowledge Express®, and Empolis Content Express®. These intelligent, digital assistants are always at their side, using all the available information and providing recommendations. This allows users to make the right decisions and solve problems more quickly, even in difficult situations.

Empolis places great value on an actively practiced and diverse corporate culture that is guided by a transparent code of conduct. Empolis also supports personal development and work-life balance of every employee. As of this year, the company offers the option of a sabbatical.

A number of awards confirms the company’s employer attractiveness: kununu, Europe’s largest employer rating platform, names Empolis “Top Company 2022” and ranks it as the fifth most popular IT employer in Germany, while German FOCUS magazine honors the company a “Top SME Employer” in the IT sector each year. Empolis employs a total of more than 220 people at five locations.
