Empolis is among the 100 most important data companies in the world

Kaiserslautern, Germany, June 20, 2017 – Empolis Information Management GmbH is one of the top 100 companies in the world specializing in data capture and analysis and one of only four German companies in that acclaimed group. The list compiled by the prestigious US-based magazine Database Trends and Applications (DBTA) also includes SAP, SAS Institute GmbH and Software AG, the only other three companies from Germany.

“In a world where demands on IT continue to grow exponentially, many companies are now addressing the various market needs with regards to hardware, software and services. The DBTA list encompasses the 100 most important companies that have reacted to these demands by offering intelligent solutions,” says Joyce Wells, managing editor of Database Trends and Applications.

This year, artificial intelligence (AI) has been considered a megatrend. Empolis, one of the pioneers in this field, is making AI available to small and medium-sized companies. “In the last four years, artificial intelligence has made major progress. And the benefits can not only be reaped by large corporations. With a Cloud-connection, any company can now make use of artificial intelligence for purposes such as predictive maintenance or the Internet of Things,” says Dr. Stefan Wess, Empolis’ CEO.
