Purposes for which personal information is intended to be processed, as well as the legal basis for the processing Provision of information (website), fulfillment of pre-contractual obligations (acquisition), exercise of marketing and sales activities according to GDPR, Art. 6 Para. 1(a)(b)(c) and (f).
Definition of legitimate interests The purpose of the Company is to develop software solutions for the comprehensive creation, management, analysis, intelligent processing and provision of all information relevant to a core business process, regardless of source, format, nature, location or device. To do that, we pursue legitimate interests in addition to the contractual and statutory requirements (GDPR Art. 6 Para. 1(f), Art. 9 Para. 2(f) and Art. 17 Para. 3(f)), in particular with respect to the exercise of marketing and sales activities including the enforcement, exercise, and defense of legal claims.

The following data are collected: Data from prospective customers for purposes of maintaining contact, specifically: last name, first name, title, address, company, telephone number, email address, background of inquiry (company size, status as partner, etc.) and, if desired: information concerning newsletter and webinar organization, product demonstration and marketing activities, feedback information (surveys).

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data Internal bodies and service providers commissioned by us for the purposes mentioned above.
Transmission of data to a third country Empolis Information Management GmbH also uses tools from third countries. These are protected by data protection agreements (usually EU standard contractual clauses).
Period of retention and criteria for determining this period Information you have provided to us as part of an initial contact (trade fairs, etc.), will be automatically deleted after 36 months unless we have established a business contact to one another in the meantime.

Immediate erasure of information based on revocation of consent is possible at any time.

Rights of Data Subjects You have the right to access the information we store, as well as the right to rectification, erasure or limitation of processing. Please speak to the contact person named above for assistance.

In addition to that, commercially necessary information and documents will generally be stored for 6 or 10 full calendar years. This is specifically required by law.
