Empolis and nyonic establish strategic partnership for the development of AI language models for industry

The companies nyonic GmbH and Empolis Information Management GmbH today announced a strategic partnership. The common goal is the development and application of special AI language models for the industrial sector, which open up a new dimension of functionality and reliability for industrial companies.

Nyonic, a young Berlin-based AI startup, has set itself the task of creating powerful language models for the European industry. They will meet high ethical and legal standards while considering the needs of multilingual and multicultural companies, and they will be optimized for industrial utilization.

Nyonic was founded by five high-profile experts: Han Dong, Chief Executive Officer, formerly of Rocket Internet; Dr. Feiyu Xu, Chief Innovation Officer, formerly head of AI at SAP; Vanessa Cann, CEO Europe, former Executive Director of the German AI Association; Professor Hans Uszkoreit, Chief Science Officer, Scientific Director at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI); and Dr. Johannes Otterbach, Chief Technology Officer, formerly of OpenAI.

Empolis, a company of the proALPHA Group and a leading supplier of SaaS software for AI applications in industry, is contributing its patented knowledge graph technology, many years of AI expertise and its strong market presence. Empolis customers, which operate globally, will be able to boost their productivity and strengthen their competitive advantages with the industry-specific language models created by nyonic for reliable industrial applications.
