German software vendor and AI pioneer Empolis, a part of the proALPHA company group, is passing an important milestone with the integration of large language models in the Empolis AI Platform. For thirty years, the company has been developing successful solutions with the help of AI technologies. The Empolis AI Platform forms the technological basis for the SaaS solutions Empolis Service Express®, Empolis Content Express®, Empolis Knowledge Express® and customized on-premises solutions.
The platform integrates many different methods of artificial intelligence for industrial use cases and combines statistical AI techniques (e.g., machine learning and large language models) with knowledge-based AI (e.g., knowledge graphs and semantic search) to meet the needs of real use cases in standardized ways wherever possible. This allows Empolis to develop trustworthy AI-based solutions that address the weaknesses of generative AI and guarantee transparent and credible results for users based on validated sources of knowledge.
On September 28, the company will present examples of industry applications using generative AI at the online event Empolis Exchange Summit. The event will be held in German language.
